Fixed-fee IT projects for small and midsize businesses.
Migrations, security, networks, and cleanups for businesses that need a project done right, without signing a monthly contract. Free scoping, a fixed-fee quote, and a documented handoff when we’re done.
How we compare
There’s more than one way to get an IT project done. Here’s where we’re different.
Swipe sideways to compare all four options.
| Hiring in-house | Managed IT providers (MSPs) | Offshore IT project firms | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fixed price before work starts | Yes, in a written plan | No, you pay for their time | Varies | Varies |
| Pay only for the project | Yes, no monthly contract | No, salary and benefits | Often a monthly plan | Yes |
| Full focus on your project | Yes, projects are all we do | Shared with daily support | Often shared with support | Yes |
| US engineers who can come on-site | Yes, travel priced up front | Yes | Usually | Mostly overseas |
| Documentation you keep | Every project | Depends on the person | Varies | Varies |
| Warranty on labor | Yes | No | Varies | Varies |
This shows how each choice tends to work in 2026. No two providers or hires are the same.
Wherever your IT stands today
We work with businesses of every size, and with whoever already looks after your IT.
No IT staff
You’re the owner, the office manager, or the person who’s “good with computers.” We take the project off your plate and leave documentation you can actually use.
An in-house IT team
Your team knows your systems best. We add the extra hands for the big project, then hand it back with full documentation.
An outside IT provider
Your provider keeps your day-to-day running. A big project needs focused time. We bring that attention, then hand the environment and documentation back to them.
Projects for businesses
Every project is scoped for free and quoted at a fixed fee. Pick the closest match, or describe what you need and we’ll scope it.
How pricing works
Projects are priced before we start, so you know the cost up front and only pay for scope you approved.
- Free discovery and scoping
- Your first call and your proposal cost nothing.
- Fixed-fee proposals
- Itemized into services, hardware, and labor, so you can see exactly what you’re paying for.
- Half to start, half at handoff
- A 50% deposit schedules the work. The balance is due when the project is complete.
- Changes are quoted first
- If the scope changes, you approve a change order before any extra work starts.
- Consulting by the hour
- Assessments and advisory work can be billed hourly, with a retainer option.
Common questions
Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.
Do you offer ongoing support or managed services?
No. We’re project-only by design. When the project is done, we hand it to you, your team, or your IT provider. If you need ongoing support, we’ll introduce you to a provider we trust.
Do you come on-site?
When the project needs it. Most work is done remotely, and we can schedule an engineer to travel to your location for the hands-on parts. On-site visits and travel are included in your quote up front, so there are no surprises.
Where do you work?
We’re US-based and remote-first, and work with businesses anywhere in the United States. If a project needs someone on-site, we schedule an engineer to travel to you.
Do you sell hardware or software?
No. We specify what you need and you buy it directly, from your usual supplier or a partner we can introduce. That keeps our recommendations independent.
What if something breaks after you’re done?
Our labor is under warranty: if something we built fails, we fix it. Changes made by others after handoff aren’t covered. Your handoff package also includes a guide to the most common issues and how to resolve them.
Can you run new network cabling?
We don’t install cabling. We plan the network and coordinate with licensed low-voltage contractors who do.
